the lesson i took away from @fredwilson.eth on Friday was that you simply have to stay in the game long enough. and in order to do that, you have to flex your curiosity muscle daily. everything else will probably lead to burn out. if you can have child-like curiosity over multiple decades, you will win

it's actually not about sharpness, smartness, which city you live in, who you raised from, what platform you use, etc. just ask yourself..."am i being curious the majority of the days in the week and can i continue to do so for the next 10, 20, 30 years?"

also, you have to take care of yourself physically and mentally. the goal is to have the wittiness, ability to laugh, and speed even when you're in the later part of your career
