Do you think he would accept it while you continue living in the physical world, and he’s trapped forever in a digital environment? Why you and not him? Sorry, it’s just that one of my favorite hard scifi books touches on this topic and gives a lot to think about. 'Permutation City' by Greg Egan, in case you want to check it out. πŸ–€ πŸ–€

It depends, living in a digital environment is not necessarily worse than living in the physical dimension… UBIK is another great book that touches on this topic. I was thinking of this one with your cast…
