Certain commonly used portfolio-type dapps right now do not recognize (or auto-detect) mints on Zora network. Think Zapper, Zerion (beta), and others - making the portfolio value inaccurate at times. @yar0x

Zora boasts itself as the L2 for NFTs. But only has 2 main markets, Zora itself and mint.fun. There's no virality factor to its collections. Many people are using due to possible airdrop. Base is similar but I can at least sell my collections on other chains, not just Zora. It's also cheaper to mint/create on Base.

You can bridge to Zora only via the official bridge from the mainnet, whereas you can bridge to the Base from various bridges and L2s

To be honest, I have no idea. I'm still finding myself in the big space that is crypto and web3. So many new terms to read on a daily basis... I do, however, prefer Base over ETH network. Zora mints seem so cheap too, can't complain.

I think both has potential grow. Base has present users already that can adapt to zora chain as well. So nothing to compare on this. Base is just earlier but not too late for zora. My answer is both 🤗 It hard to pre judge the performance of these two chains. @yar0x

Zora is great - team and founders have built something beautiful. That said, I think the practical nature of having for functionalities enabled on Base is the sole single reason that Zora won't grow faster. NFTs fundamentally have changed too much.
