1/ @giu and I are excited to officially launch Pinetree! 🌲

We're building the best video client for casters, with crypto rails baked in. Our conviction is that ads-based video platforms are a local maxima and that we have an opportunity to unlock the global maxima — a video content network powered by a p2p economy.

Not really decentralized yet -- eventual goal is to be a utility for videos, but that's 5-10 years away at the earliest

Near-term goal is to just be the best Farcaster client for long-form videos. But if you want to look at it in a skeumorphic way, you could call it "onchain" YouTube

How is engagement and KPIs looking?

Seems like you launched very recently, I checked out the announcement video

You guys mentioned it took a couple months to launch, what was the most challenging part?

These days, I'm building products and launching them within 1-2 weeks, depending on complexity
