I had heard about defensiveness, but had been raising it halfway. I took your advice, took the plunge and spent all my points on defense and won two at once!

High def stats are key to beating the gym leaders. At least 10 more than their attack stat. Better more. That should give you a better chance to win against them :)

It is hard to believe that such a farmon even exists.
The degree of growth seems to be random, so unless you are lucky. At least just collect a farmon with lvl 1 and 120 power.

Any tips?
