Warps are just functioning to pay the gas and protocol fees. Warps go to Warpcast who pays the ETH. Between gas and Zora fees there’s around 0.0008 Ξ to pay. 

Still, when the price is set at 0 Ξ we refer to as a “free mint”

There is no such thing as a free (as in no gas or protocol fees) mint. Any time you’ve seen some “mint in frame” where you don’t have to pay, it’s just been subsidized by someone else paying the gas. Usually they do so because they want promotion like recasts etc to grow their following

Happy to help. A lot of people comment that when I use the term free but it’s not something smaller creators like me who don’t care about number of followers but just want to create and hopefully make a tiny bit of money to support ourselves.
