Not gonna lie, sometimes I often wonder if the venture game is actually just 'spray and pray'.

I remember reading stats about how many venture firms underperformed Nasdaq 100 in the past 10yrs - it shocked me. I will find the exact % and post later w/ source.

i mean, if you're like YCom and the likes where you go pre-seed and even pre-product, definitely it's a spray and pray model. If it works, it works right!
