For sure, I've muted and reported a lot of posts by now, but they keep popping up and people keep interacting with them

People should see the tips as an extra thing, not as the main reason to be here

I'm just here to have fun, make friends, spread love and kindness, and anything I gain on top of that is a bonus

I simply mute posts like that. 
Sure, we are incentivised by the tipping system to be here, but that doesn't mean we have to make it all about the financial gain.

Downvoting is definitely a good idea as long as there's also some sort of system in place to prevent abuse and manipulation of it, but that's a whole another can of worms

its a code of conduct thing. thats why i think unlike twitter,m this place would benefit from downvoting. some of the giveaways have been the most profitable and things here and drive new users. its the spammy stuff that ruins it
