As I get older, I feel even more profound respect for how rare it is to find real connection with others. 

It felt like it came more easily when I was younger but really I think I was just taking it for granted and too naive to notice.

they have actually done studies on this . when people are younger there's a lote more experimentation . the circle is larger . trying to find out what works . as one gets older . more experience . more meaningful connections
