How do webrtc/websockets play in a frame atm?

can you help elaborate a bit more?

ngrok helps expose some localhost, and then something else happens?

for me personally, i was running my frame (frontend) on ngrok to use the warpcast frame simulator while hitting my localhost backend

backend stopped working when i added socket logic

but then i made an ngrok url for the backend too (now, two ngrok urls in local development) and started using that and it worked again
