I would love more stuff is happening IRL. We are always online. Once in a while I am wondering what IRL format we could bootstrap to create a vibrant exchange of beautiful minds.

I've done a lot of experimenting with this too. Not a developer thing, but one of my favorites now is a Jeffersonian dinner format. 25ish people, many of whom have never met but may have heard of each other. 2-3 seed speakers, speaking at the table for < 5 minutes each with provocative ideas. The conversation follows from the last seed speaker, not as Q&A but as discussion. Go until the room gets tired or it becomes to awkward to eat. We've done a bunch of these over the past few years and they're always inspiring.
