What it confirmed for me again is that most social media personas are drastically more negative than the human beings operating these accounts. It is night and day. Those are not the same people. Same with characters like Mert. Why is your online identity such an idiot if you are actually a great human being at heart?

Apologies for not being clear hear. I did not mean to say that YOUR online persona is an idiot. I wanted to say that I noticed more of the bad tendencies when certain accounts pop up on my timeline. It was more generally speaking and I actually do not want to judge the quality of anyone's online retardation.
