we can (and should) argue where the lines are, but any ecosystem that simply gives up on any responsibility to answer those questions is dead already

this entire industry is caught in a tragedy of the commons and if we cant collectively agree on what is socially unacceptable and how to sanction that behavior, theres not gonna be an industry to build in real soon. you might have market dominance but even 100% of 0 is still 0

Who are you to sanction anything?

The answer to that question is why we are doing this blockchain thing in the first place. All this talk about about what is "right" is extremely patronising and utterly hypocritical for people who claim to build systems that are *checks notes* censorship resistant. 

You guys should forget about your purity tests and instead just build something that you think should exist in this world. And then, leave it to the people to choose. 

Turns out, mechanism design is hard.

I am nobody, but are we talking about the hypocrisy of Ethereum since POS? Or maybe it's better to let the governments dictate rules rather than ourselves? 🤔
