PoW只能短期是民主的。因为总是有规模经济，更大的矿工的效率更高，所以长时间后会越来越中心化

我觉得我们PoS之前没有ASIC大可能就是因为大家知道我们有计划搬到PoS，所以没有人做了ASIC。如果我们是从第一天宣言我们是永远PoW的，大可能2016-19年之间ASIC都会出来，除非我们一直每年做了分岔改算法，但是这样也中心化

所以我觉得我们的方法，化7年的时间用PoW做distribution，然后搬到PoS，是最好的

PoS 有自己的公平：你有10倍更多钱，你就能生产10倍更多区块。在ASIC PoW里，有规模经济，可能10倍更多钱 = 11 倍更多区块。

还有一点是：PoS 在以太坊并不是治理方式。以太币持有者没有权利选择那些EIP放在下一个分岔，等等。如果我们用了PoS做这种决定，那确实会太富豪主义的

“富豪主义”这个词很有意思，让ETH持有者可以参与网络运维和获得经济回报，但不能影响开发者方向，就好比股东会议和董事会，股东是很有可能完全不懂业务的，事实上也是如此
