also the attacker could benefit from such markets during the attack imagine that the attacker bought a losing result for a million dollars at a price of 1 cent - 100m shares he starts the attack as the fork approaches, people who bought the winning shares start to get nervous, they risk losing 100m to win 101m the attacker places an order to sell his shares at 2-5 cents (does manipulations from different addresses, washtrading, etc.) if his victims are not ready to accept the risk of losing funds (and this is generally a sound decision, since it is better to lose 1-2% in such a situation than to risk everything for a reward of 1%), then the attacker at least doubles his investments in the market.

I wonder if an attacker has enough tokens, say 20%, they could start attacking 10 markets at once. And if the defenders had to buy tokens on the open market, this would drive up the price of REP. And then the attacker could sell the unused tokens at a higher price than before the attack. They also have the potential to successfully attack if the defenders are unable to defend all markets at the same time. Once a fork is reached on one of the markets, disputes on the other markets are frozen and the attacker gets the opportunity to withdraw tokens from the remaining disputes in order to migrate to the new universe or sell them. This assumption works if not all holders are interested in protecting the markets (they don't care for any reason, trade on the exchanges, are on vacation, lost keys, etc.), which may be true.
