i swear the average cost of a croissant in venice, los angeles is $7 now grok tells me the average cost of a croissant in venice, italy is €2.50 on the high end absurd

some of these coffee shops don’t even make the croissants, so is the transportation and delivery really that expensive ?!!!

yes cost to purchase the vehicle, maintain it, insure it, fuel it, and pay the driver are all factored into that cost. atoms come with significantly more overhead than bits decentralizing the food system is a national security issue with tech-like deflationary knock on effects, making higher quality food cheaper
