What's your SEO strategy for getting a new domain listed quickly? I have searched for a couple of terms with KD ~20 /volume of 500-1000. Its a new App and domain (matches keywords). What's next? Focus landing page on those keywords? Accompanying blog post? Backlinks?

Depends a lot on what the keywords are (not just KD & volume) and what the match is. For keywords that are used in other contexts other sites may have a better match than your new domain, but if it’s very specific to you, it may just be a matter of getting it crawled Just because you put up a site that’s plumbingsupplies.com doesn’t mean you’ll outrank Home Depot’s plumbing supplies page for that keyword immediately.

All three (LP + Blog post + backlinks) and potentially buy an old domain that’s in the same industry and redirect? Backlinks got very expensive the past months though…
