What's your SEO strategy for getting a new domain listed quickly? I have searched for a couple of terms with KD ~20 /volume of 500-1000. Its a new App and domain (matches keywords).

What's next? Focus landing page on those keywords? Accompanying blog post? Backlinks?

All three (LP + Blog post + backlinks) and potentially buy an old domain that’s in the same industry and redirect? Backlinks got very expensive the past months though…

We bought a domain like 7-8 years ago and back then it was still a good investment. I wasn’t sure about that move today, hence „potentially“, but I already expected this to be way harder today… but with current cost per backlink maybe still worth it?

I wouldn’t buy an old domain and just redirect the whole thing by itself, Google has cracked down on that and it’s not worth it. Possibly worth it to buy an existing site (not just the domain) and very carefully move over content, then map out redirects but it’s a whole site migration not just a domain redirect

Thought so. The combination of all 3 is still most relevant these days?
