mwp feels like a copy of walletconnect. why not just use walletconnect? i use walletconnect to do ~90% of my crypto transactions bc i mostly use mobile and desktop safari

Not reliable on mobile. We use wallet connect on desktop

The onchain UX ecosystem. WalletConnect Inc., previously walletconnect(dot)com, is now 
@reown, and discoverable at reown(dot)com

MWP couples transport/data layer which is suboptimal design. @walletconnect has "Link Mode" which also uses Universal Links as transport but the same data layer (JSON-RPC) as on the web. This makes the integration easer for dapps. MWP only works for native apps. Our approach works everywhere
