Startup Idea: Farcaster Payouts 

US companies want to make onchain payments but need to meet compliance requirements. We do our grants through Github because doing the 1099's ourself is a pain. 

- Take a list of fids and payment input onchain
- Make payouts to fids and issue 1099s (use stripe connect payouts)

This means collecting W-8/W-9 forms, making payments, and then issuing 1099-NEC forms for both you and your recipients.

Doesn’t this go against the whole cyberpunk ethos of crypto? Like why would you want to make your product a fed product …

It does, but we also can't ignore the practicality/reality of operating a business in the US

Some of our users are not as ideological, and want to stay above board while paying contractors, doing rewards/grants programs

nobody is being forced to use it -- just like on/offramps which we've integrated as well but require KYB, it's purely additive to the experience
