In the process of converting our gym into a 2nd living room (been going to a cool gym down the road for nearly 2 years now so it's time).

Have this empty slot in the room. Gonna turn it into a reading nook. Put together a nice foundation out of a few studs, light panel board, and a thick piece of plywood for the top. Made sure to put hinges on it so you can open it up and use it for storage.

Will post an update with the finished product once I make a custom cushion, get some lighting, and throw in a bunch of pillows. And maybe a collapsible coffee stand that comes off the wall?

I would think about leather if I had a sewing machine. But the flush to the wall coffee coaster is definitely on the table
