your FID is basically your farcaster account. you can access any client if you buy a FID on far.quest/market

Essentially yes, but it’s a bit more complex than that under the hood. 

Warpcast allows you to access and use the FID, but your FID would also be an ‘account’ on other Farcaster apps as well.
