i'm not sure why everyone regards the EF's opinion so highly to begin with tbh

sure it reveals something disappointing about the attitude of people that work at the EF, but ethereum is a properly decentralized ecosystem with no insiders. no single entity is going to rescue it - we are all responsible for its success or failure
