started writing a draft for my 2nd novel at the start of the year, up to 5,000 words now

i usually write from the 3rd-person pov so i wanted to challenge myself to write in 1st-person pov this time, it's been fun and to my surprise has made it feel like the writing comes a little easier

a criminal syndicate in the future steals a company's new dream machine tech via corporate espionage, then they release the devices into their bars, clubs, etc. to sell fantasy on tap like junk to their clientele. the novel is about the personal and collective chaos that ensues from this dynamic lol

haha thank you i finished a first draft of my first novel in March 2024 and then put it in my drawer to marinate on ever since, i need to come back to it and make a second pass at some point - it's about a futures studies DAO that gets taken over by a cult at an underground Icelandic base
