something that's been nice about this year is i've been making it a point to read alot more finished 6 books in the past couple of months doing a few at a time i love to read and feel out of sync when i'm not, that's one part another is reading as fuel for my own creative writing - sometimes you don't take any inspiration from a book, but i think it's ideal to flood the mind with ideas as you never know what might inspire what

today's takes: • Supreme Court Chevron case — a bit of a disaster imo, decidedly shifts power from agency experts to judges, makes system way more prone to activist judges legislating from the bench • SEC sues MetaMask — another classic hater move from Gensler's Commission, he just won't stop aggressively reaching • Pudgy Penguins L2 — Igloo Inc. acquiring Frame is a bold play, but too early to know what to expect here; let's see if Abstract is done well or goofy • Warpcast Pay — i'm a big gifter type so love the idea of being able to readily tip anyone in-app • Logan Paul sues CoffeeZilla — the facts seem pretty clear cut in this case, having lots of money and resources can't save you from the truth, take some accountability

today's takes: • Coinbase x Stripe partnership — makes sense, nice practical step forward for Base • VanEck SOL ETF — Solana an obvious contender for one of the first ETFs after BTC and ETH, begs question of is it possible under Gensler? • MegaETH raise — it's Monad with better branding? we'll see, impressive names on the investors list • Zerion's L2 — it's another notable get for ZKsync's ZK Stack, makes you wonder what's next, e.g. is the rumored Pudgy Penguins chain near? • SEC v. Jarkesy — i appreciate the dissenting justices' concerns but jury trials seem the fairest, most appropriate answer even if slower

autonomous worlds and runtime art are kindred and interesting for a lot of the same reasons e.g. being generated entirely at the level of the chain, highly composable, autonomous, always on, etc.
