I first arrived in Ethereum as a creative writer in 2017, and I was immediately struck by its potential as a storymaking engine in various senses.

This essay crystallizes a lot of the ideas I've been kicking around for years.

Economically, if Ethereum can continue to widen as a gravity well of storymaking, ETH will rise.

Politically, Ethereum offers us flights of escape toward new territories of freedom, so that *we* can rise.

In my opinion, there's no going back. 

So long as people are dreaming here, the pages of Ethereum will continue to fill like a powerful book expanding in all directions.
