anyone can write poetry, the key imo is imagery this "poem" sucks because it has 0% put a concrete image per line or every other, and you'll find your stuff hits harder and has a better sheen also great for minimalist verse, you can write very short if you deploy imagery well

e.g. this is why classical Japanese haikus are still great today, note there are 2-3 images per in such a small amount of words there's an imagistic density there that your mind can grapple onto, technical proficiency in service of creative execution
