I believe focusing solely on "earning money" as the core value proposition of Farcaster might limit its long-term potential. While financial incentives can attract users, a sustainable and engaged community is built on deeper values. A stronger value proposition could center around user-owned social networking, where individuals control their data, identity, and interactions. Emphasizing decentralization, content portability, and meaningful connections can differentiate Farcaster from traditional platforms. Monetization can still be a part of the ecosystem, but it should be an outcome of a thriving community rather than the primary draw. Encouraging knowledge exchange, collaboration, and innovation could foster a more resilient and purpose-driven network.
