Fiction relies on made-up characters, plots, and metaphors to explore aspects of reality and human nature.

I find it much more fun to learn the core ideas presented directly.

is this a genuine thing someone can feel? it feels performative, like some kinda grindset mentality stufff. i couldnt imagine writing off like 90% of literature because its made up stories.

Yes, it is possible for someone to feel that way. Literature should be appreciated for its creativity and storytelling, not dismissed because it is fictional
