Finally started putting stuff back🥳. Had some headwinds - poor weather, hidden disasters underground which needed sorting and to cap it all my van blew up this week 😔. Still, going the right way now and next week should see some slabs down and anew vehicle 🤞

Progress report - weather has broken, lost time already to rain and found some nasties under the patio. Thankfully no bodies but no compaction of sub-base, no weepholes in retaining wall and totally sub standard roof water management 😭. Lots of extra work😞.

🤣, yep, a bit of both😉. Just gonna use allow nitrogen feed to get some root growth. Any autumn feed i.find in the garden centre first I imagine that doesn't cost a fortune!

I'm an alpine baby😉. French Alps all the way I'm afraid. Not got much experience anywhere else. Most memorable 🤔 probably fresh tracks on the Grand Vallon in Val d'isere. Pretty special. Sadly, don't think I will get to the hills this winter 😭. What about you?

🤭 not even worth trying! That will go horribly wrong. I love riding swallowtail boards, only done it a couple of times but they're awesome. Season is getting close 😉🎉

It's a sad day, my work companion for more than 20 yes has finally decided to retire 😭. Absolute favourite digging shovel, it's going to take several years work to break another one in. I'm hoping to repurpose this as a barrow mixing shovel though 🤞

Big project begins today. 2 months work most likely,1 deck rebuild, 2 patios, 100tons plus of earth moving, pergolas, slopes steps and 200+ oak sleepers..... Should be fun!
