I thought farcaster already allowed more multiple ed signers and that’s how all the alt clients worked?

I guess this is a new requirement re authenticated frames? So we’re authenticated frames default broken with alternative clients?

v1 Frames didn’t have any notion of strong auth and worked across clients. V2 frames have strong auth and have been used by apps to gate access to wallets. So using an eddsa signer held in the cloud wasn’t the right security model for this. You can get a frame to auth in any client that has the seed phrase, so the solution was to import to another app
