Sharing my language learning best practices and would love to hear from others on this! 1. Deprioritize apps that don’t focus on speaking and listening. Apps like Duolingo and Babbel are great for learning to read and write but are pretty useless for speaking

Anki is my go-to app for building vocabulary with spaced repetition (flashcards). There are plenty of shared libraries available for download that come with full audio pronunciation + usage in sentences.

As much as possible I try to keep the process fun and engaging. Netflix and other streaming platforms have tons of international content. Or find podcasts or shows following your other interests in that language. Or just replace your daily news with broadcasts in target language.
