Very good advice! 
My code is a mess, but I use git at least and I’m used to commit even the smallest changes, this helps a bit 🙃

A word of advice in case time runs out faster than expected: be sure to comment out the code so that re-editing the project is not painful.

But maybe you already did it so ignore this message.
