Disappointingly (but not surprisingly) AI x crypto has totally lacked imagination and creativity and hasn’t enabled anything novel worth mentioning so far Pure grift energy with the exception of maybe clanker and bankr

everything in crypto (and music, media and fashion in that case) is not cutting edge based on your take of ‘repackaged old brought to a new crowd’ cycles 101

Cycles should grow and compound though. Snake oil sells last months newspapers. A bunch of hit and run 1 hit wonders in crypto. (Even if some hit and run again and again) The only thing preventing crypto adoption are crypto KOL’s

depends how you look at the cycle but it feels to me like you’re missing the forest for the trees i mean — so many UX improvements came round this cycle, LLMs being just one of many crypto has had the same thing every cycle — it also exists in the real world but it’s only recently become more shamelessly apparent whereas it’s always been rampant in this space i can’t tell if you’re actually saying that with absolute conviction grifters (KOLs) will and will always exist in any scenario, they’re not the thing holding us back lol imo the thing truly preventing crypto adoption is a non-niche use case in which crypto isn’t front-and-centre (preferably not even mentioned) we probably start adoption by replacing Western Union

Yes. Grift is universal. SPACS were case in point tradfi edition during Covid. I fully believe in the whole. (Of course there are exceptions) : A web2 4 is a crypto 10. Anon no recourse. For the culture. So the culture we have is KOL. 1d = 1b
