i like to think i'm speaking their language badly, like the equivalent of pronouncing things wrong, but they just appreciate the effort and can work out what i'm trying to say

that's a lot of blinking to catch up on 😭😭 i also give them the ol' light headbutt thing they do but they don't seem to appreciate that one as much

i think mostly for cats it's just understanding they've got some pretty strict boundaries and you gotta essentially 'ask' for permission before doing things

and realising that even if they get pissed off it doesn't mean they hate you, they don't tend to hold grudges, they just show you that you've overstepped a lil aggressively sometimes 🤣
