Watched the first episode of Rings of Power, and found myself waiting for it to finish so I could go to sleep.
It's absurd that so much money and time can be spent on a roll of the dice.
If we really can't cracked the code, I am sure that AI can tell us if a script/episode sucks.

You could say the same about the soporific Silmarillion. 

I’m fully caught up on the show and I’m enjoying it. It’s not incredible television. More like watching a moving painting about a place I think about a lot (middleearth).

I dig old computers and used bookstores. 

I believe the Harvard Lampoon once did a parody by the name of The Sillymarillion - probably a much better read
