Yet by putting yourself in a position where you are constantly doing new things over and over again - it puts you back again, where you started - doing the same (new) things over and over again

“it puts you back again, where you started” — Funny how life has so many ways to get us dissatisfied and itching to change things up. In this case, you work hard to escape mundanity, eventually you want to return to it, but after a while want to escape it again. There simply is no set it and forget it.
