As a Gen Xer, I learned to type on typewriters, in junior high school. Everyone learned to make 2 spaces between sentence. After looking back at some older writing, I shifted from double-space to single-space at some point in the last 10 years. What about you?

I was taught 2 spaces but somewhere along the line — late high school or freshman year college — I had an instructor insist we not do it because they thought it was cheating, like it made your essays look longer or something 🤷♂️
