If you could do anything for a living without fear of failing or concern for money, what would you do?

I’d try writing a novel. Always wanted to and  somehow I always find myself thinking about the plot lines; for years now.

The great thing about writing is that the tools are cheap and your probably already have the hardware. But man, it takes time. I spent 4 years working on a novel — logged 400 hours in 2020 alone. Got through 2 drafts — 140k words then 120k words. I sort of burned out on it.

I think about picking it up again from time to time, I know what I would do in draft #3, but it might have to wait for some nebulous retirement stage in the future because my responsibilities are so vastly different now.
