My observation is that men and women are escaping into their respective fantasies (porn and romance fiction) rather than meeting each other in reality.

How is it that we’ve developed a collective delusion about one another?

Or they waste their time on dating apps trying to find that someone special, like looking for a unicorn. I’ve noticed the peak of the pandemic has made dating so much more complex. People don’t know how to socialize anymore like in the good old days where you sit at the bar & the person next to you starts to chat.
