I remember using Argent mobile wallet a few years back and thinking this might be it. A wallet without seed phrases, social recovery with simple and intuitive UI. 

They decided to focus on only one L2, sadly having low activity and development, and giving up their upper edge.

Rainbow is unstable, only working so far is CB and Zerion but not yet Granny ready.

Soulwallet looks promising.

On mobile I like Family, I hope they get out of beta soon!

Yeah, that was a strange move from Argent, especially after they leaned so heavily into zkSync at first. The smart contract vault on L1 was probably doomed for most small users due to gas though. 

Zerion is my favourite mobile option right now, although I sometimes find it easier to connect to dapps with Rainbow. 

Farcaster dapps keep pushing me to Coinbase Wallet and it makes me want to use it less. Smart wallets and passkeys feel like the start of a new silo for now.
