Feature request: Let me add channels to my starter packs Use Case: My cousin is in college doing a dual data and cs degree. He wants to know what tech and projects are worth playing with. Super smart, but he doesn't have strong existing networks on twitter, linkedin, or github so it's hard for him to discover what's at the frontier. Ie, he lacks a signal filter. I could give him a list of repos that I'm excited about, but that's a point in time snapshot. Better yet, I invited him to Farcaster and gave him a starter pack of people. But that requires him to sort through a bunch of non-tech related content, and I ended up filtering out some strong builders because their degen-y crypto posts may be a distraction. The best would be if I could share a list of 3-5 high signal channels in addition to a collection of interesting people. When well curated, channels contain only high signal topic-related content from a theoretically unlimited pool of contributors, which is the best signal filter I can give him.

on @recaster-fc users can create channel lists, which works well if you’re trying to focus on 3-5 topics/communities. If you create a list and make it public then you can share the list url with your cousin. here’s a channel list I just made that shows only casts from /dev /fc-devs /neynar /frontend https://recaster.org/lists/2e64158b-8c2c-4f32-bd3f-6695fbbfdca5
