Hybrid attestations let Farcaster and EAS be interoperable Get an attestation from EAS and spread it on Farcaster. Or vice versa. All verifiable onchain through /witness Bro is a silly use case but this paves the way for new integrations between onchain, offchain, web2, and offline

In the video above, I am tapping the “Source” link for each of the 3 attesters who’ve given @beachmfer.eth the bro credential The first two use the Cast based atteststions as their sources of truth. Cast data is already cryptographically verifiable, so there’s no need to transform it, only witness it. The third one is an icebreaker issued attestation which we make on /eas We have defined an equivalency so that both credentials are treated as equivalent while preserving provenance. If @beachmfer.eth cast attests to someone else on Farcaster, a cast attestation will be stored. If on icebreaker, an /eas attestation.
