Maybe a strange thing to say for a designer, but I couldn't care less about cinematography - to be precise, the kind you see in Severance: symmetrical, minimal, sterile 

It does nothing for me and actually takes me out of the story

I don't look for beauty in TV and movies; not saying that either can't be aesthetic, but I do think a primary focus on beauty is misplaced

They are called "moving pictures" after all
