reflection on @base growth:

when we launched the @farcon precommit in february, we required the 20 USDC deposit on Base.

people were annoyed. we had to include directions on how to get USDC on Base (CB wallet or bungee.exchange and then bungee got hacked fml).

now ~6mo later, USDC on Base is pretty much the default.

My first encounter with Base was December last year when when a game called Cambria used it. I became a maxi instantly after seeing the gas fees and transaction speed.
