I miss the feeling of going to the shop to buy a cd of a new album by a band i liked not knowing what songs are there. I might have heard a single or two and that's it. The coming back home and listening to that album from beginning to an end. What an experience and a journey. Now i just listen to new albums on Spotify and it gives me zero emotions. Most of the times it just becomes background noise and i just don't even remember half of it. How do you listen to new music? Preorder a record or a CD? Still not nearly as much fun. @mightymoss @j4ck.eth FC music frens tell me about your rituals

I dig for records every week either at thrift stores or record shops near me. I still enjoy buying records from local bands and playing it through when I get home. It's fun to dig through dollar bins and pick up a few that have great covers, I've found some gems that way. I like to listen to DJ mixes on YouTube in different genres and find new music that way. I also still listen to our community powered radio station KEXP, they play a ton of new music every day. https://kexp.org/ I agree with your assessment of Spotify, I'm burnt out on using it as my main source for new music.

I love digging too when i'm travelling. Especially for weird and obscure stuff. We don't have record stores suitable for proper digging locally.
