Well, it's a simplification and depends on country/region/continent. For example, in our experience Africa has much better mobile coverage in rural areas than South America, where Helium (IoT) coverage is often better. Also, in Europe and South America, if you want to place a station in the middle of a huge field, you will probably like the LTE version.

only the wifi one would be of any use and only if there was a solar powered repeater so i could locate it remotely in my garden. my garden climate is extremely different in comparison to my house even though theyre on the same acreage because of variations in tree coverage and solar orientation.

the garden is also about 1/4 mile from the main house, no wifi reaches out there
