i saw this post on X and it had me thinking

ofc im nowhere near ronaldos level lol but as a professional athlete there is SO much pressure with posting a certain kind of content

i have been vlogging my training and competitions since 2018 and used to get quite negative comments from fans/team staff at the time as it wasn’t deemed “professional”  or “serious”

also when trying to curate a page which brands want to collaborate with as an athlete in a niche event ( triple jump ) the posts which get the post engagement are action shots and competition results

i dont mind but that means i show less and less of myself and focus more of solely my sporting achievements or selectively hand picked branded content

this is why im finding farcaster so refreshing 

i can post what i want without fear of judgement, i am able to post freely as me!! 

it would be cool for more athletes to come on here and feel free too 🤔
