Today’s reminder:

Make sure you add in your “accessory lifts” in your all of your workouts. 

Most of the time we rush to get our workout out in and want to focus on the “primary lift” ex. Squats/Bench/Deadlifts…. But, the simple lifts, will help with your primary muscle gains. Note: you can 100% do your accessory lifts in between your primary lifts if time is short for you! However, don’t over do it with the reps - the goal is to still have enough recovery for your primary lift reps.

Movement of the day: (Accessory lift)
Rear foot elevated split squats (aka: Bulgarian split squats)

Benefits: 
-Unilateral stabilization + strength (correcting muscle imbalances)
-Overall improvement of body control (core strength)
-Targets quads, hamstrings, and glutes.
