Great question, I suspect because the Base team tests increases before they hit mainnet but @jessepollak @aneri would know best

Would love to know the reason @aneri It looks like I a quite a bit lower on base sepolia which is causing some issues in my testing. Similar question - is there a way to get base sepolia eth/USDC faster than the faucet I have to hit that thing so frequently lol

@quazia Also, to answer your question re: gas limits -- we don't increase the gas limit and target on Sepolia since it's a test network; we may update in the future though. 👍
